Month 1 in NZ: Check.

28 November 2013 (there are two more hours until this date, but whatever, I’m counting it)

It’s been exactly a month since I arrived in NZ.

ONE month since I wound up lost and frazzled on the streets of Auckland for two hours while lugging my giant suitcases and tripping over my feet… hahahaha.

I had my first day of an actual job yesterday (27 November) at Equestrian Sports NZ, which means it took me a month to find a suitable job that I could learn and grow from. I’m blessed that it’s a great team, a chill position, in the heart of downtown Wellington and also with opportunities to expand my social media and communications skill sets.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! I’m thankful for too many people and things in my life, but overall, if you’re reading this, you’re bound to be someone that I’m thankful for. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. You all know who you are.

  1. Happy Thanksgiving Debbi! Hope all is going well (which it seems like it is) and that you are enjoying your adventure. Make the most of it and I look forward to hearing or reading about your updates. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Roseann (Courtney’s mom)
